Purchasing Officer......full time/part time.

OEM Dynamics, a successful national Engineering and Manufacturing business based in Ballina, is seeking an experienced person for the role of Purchasing Officer for our manufacturing facility at Ballina. Prior experience in a purchasing role is required along with mechanical ability and an energetic attitude.

Skills and background required are:-
* Experience in a manufacturing/mechanical environment
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft programs and ERP systems
* Meticulous self starter
* Quality assurance experience will be highly regarded
* Experience with import purchasing will be an advantage
* High level of negotiation skill is essential.

The position works within our production team. The team is responsible for all production activities including production administration, purchasing, scheduling, inventory management, quality, customer service, accounts payable and stocktake activities. An ability and willingness to take on additional responsibilities and cross train to cover other roles and tasks within the team is desirable.
